She went to The United Kingdom in 1952 and she studied dress making. She is now a British citizen and she only came back to Uganda on a few occasions. she has lived in London for over 50 years. She is now 86 years old and family members nick named her "THE HUMAN ROLLS ROYCE" because she is still in her senses and has a very sharp memory.

She had one son called James Kijaala (from Mr.Bunya Kironde her husband) who died in  a car accident.
