life History

Ham Mukasa became a Member of the British Empire in 1903, and later, one of the greatest statesmen Uganda has ever had. He served as a chief of kyaggwe county and carried the title of Ssekibobo of Buganda for over 30 years. After his retirement the title Ssekibobo stuck on him despite the fact that he had retired.

Njovu Telemerwa

Hamu Mukasa belonged to the Elephant (Njovu) Clan.

Kyaggwe county is known as Mukono District today. Ham Mukasa wrote several books and scripts. They can be found at Makerere University Library and others through searching on google.com. The most popular and easily accessible online is " Uganda's Katikiiro visits England"
